City of Lawton welcomes four new emergency communications dispatchers 

Lawton, OK – The City of Lawton is celebrating the addition of four new emergency communications dispatchers who have completed their training and are ready to begin serving the community.

City officials announced that Marcilio Cordeiro, Kaidence Ostrowski, James Pendley, and Claudia Robertson have successfully completed the extensive training required to join Lawton’s Emergency Communications team.

Emergency dispatchers play a critical role in public safety operations, serving as the first point of contact for residents reporting emergencies and coordinating responses from police, fire, and emergency medical personnel.

According to the city, the four graduates completed the training program and are now prepared to assist residents and support emergency response efforts throughout the Lawton community.

City officials congratulated the new dispatchers on reaching the milestone and encouraged residents to join in welcoming them to their new roles.

The City of Lawton said the addition of the four dispatchers will help strengthen the Emergency Communications team as it continues providing vital services to residents and first responders across the community.
