Oklahoma – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol recognized Trooper Ruben Maravilla after he completed nearly a year of military training and earned a commission in the United States Army.
According to the agency, Maravilla recently attended 11 months of training through Officer Candidate School, where he graduated as an Honor Graduate.
Following the completion of the program, he was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Army.
The highway patrol said Maravilla currently serves in Troop ES, Executive Security, and congratulated him on the achievement.
