Lawton, OK – The Lawton Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on June 6 in the 100 block of NE Arlington.
According to police, officers responded to the area after receiving a report of a possible shooting. As the investigation progressed, authorities determined that the incident was a homicide.
Police said the victim was identified as Calvin Barnett. The victim’s family has been notified.
The department’s Criminal Investigation Division is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. Officials have not released additional details regarding potential suspects or what may have led to the incident.
