Man Arrested on Child Abuse Charges in Antlers, Oklahoma 

Antlers, OK – A 50-year-old man has been arrested following a child abuse investigation in Pushmataha County. George Allen Pate Jr. faces multiple charges of child sex abuse after a thorough investigation led by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI).

The investigation began on November 13, 2024, when the Antlers Police Department requested assistance from the OSBI. Following a comprehensive inquiry, the case was forwarded to the Pushmataha County District Attorney’s Office. After reviewing the evidence, the district attorney filed several charges against Pate.

An arrest warrant was issued for Pate on December 13, 2024. Authorities report that Pate later turned himself in to the Pushmataha County Sheriff’s Office, where he was booked into jail.
