MacArthur JROTC Battalion honored for drill excellence at City Council meeting 

Lawton, OK – On April 8, 2025, the MacArthur Senior High School JROTC Battalion took center stage at the City Council meeting to showcase their impressive drill routines.

The cadets demonstrated precision and discipline, reflecting the skills that have earned them recognition across the state.

After the performance, each member of the battalion was awarded certificates and challenge coins, acknowledging their dedication to leadership, teamwork, and excellence.

This recognition was not only a proud moment for the cadets but for the entire Lawton community.

The MacArthur Highlander JROTC Battalion has solidified its legacy with two state championships in Armed Forces Drill and Color Guard and four consecutive titles as Army JROTC State Champions.

These achievements highlight their commitment to high standards of discipline and teamwork.

The City Council meeting celebrated both their recent successes and the values they embody, setting an example for their peers and inspiring others in the community.
