Lawton, OK – The Lawton Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a wanted individual with an outstanding warrant in Comanche County.
Police identified the individual as Chester Edwards, who is wanted on a Comanche County warrant, CF-2002-589, for failure to appear.
Edwards is described as a Black male, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 215 pounds.
The Lawton Police Department urged anyone with information about Edwards’ whereabouts to contact Emergency Communications at 580-581-3272.
Those who wish to remain anonymous can provide information through Crime Stoppers of Southwest Oklahoma by calling 580-355-INFO (4636).
Authorities reminded the public not to attempt to apprehend the individual themselves and to instead provide any information directly to law enforcement.
Police said tips from community members can help officers locate wanted individuals and continue efforts to keep the community safe.
