Lawton, OK – The Lawton Police Department thanked members of the Lawton-Fort Sill community who participated in a recent motorcycle safety course held on Fort Sill in partnership with the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office.
The department’s Motor Unit worked with riders during the free training, sharing safety skills and information designed to help improve motorcycle awareness and reduce risks on the road.
Lawton Police said the event provided an opportunity for officers to connect with local riders while promoting safe riding habits throughout the community.
Officials thanked those who attended and encouraged residents to follow the department’s social media pages for future classes, events, and safety updates.
The department reminded riders and motorists to continue prioritizing safety while traveling in the Lawton-Fort Sill area.
