Lawton, OK – Lawton Police Chief Curtis Akard spoke to members of Great Plains Ambucs about the department’s ongoing efforts to serve the community and strengthen partnerships with local organizations.
According to the Lawton Police Department, Chief Akard was invited to share information about the department and the work officers are doing to support public safety and build relationships throughout the city.
The department said serving the citizens of Lawton, building trust, and working alongside community organizations remain central to its mission.
Lawton Police thanked Great Plains Ambucs for the opportunity to speak with its members and recognized the organization’s role in helping make the community stronger through local partnerships and service initiatives.
