Lawton, OK – The City of Lawton announced upcoming traffic changes on SW Lee Boulevard as construction work continues in the area.
Beginning Tuesday, July 7, westbound lanes of SW Lee Boulevard between SW 52nd Street and SW 38th Street will reopen to traffic. City officials said the change marks a new phase of the ongoing roadway project.
Starting Wednesday, July 8, eastbound lanes will be closed to through traffic as construction progresses.
Despite the closures, the city confirmed that the main entrance to Great Plains Technology Center will remain open. Drivers traveling westbound will also be able to access the campus using Park Ridge Boulevard.
Officials thanked residents for their patience during the project and noted that the work is part of continued efforts to improve roadway infrastructure in Lawton.
