Lawton, OK – The City of Lawton continues to make significant progress on the construction of the new Aquatics Center.
By the end of this week, the main pool area is expected to be fully poured, marking an important milestone in the project.
The pool will include a wading section, a large swimming area, and a 12-foot-deep end.
Following the completion of the pool area, the next phase will focus on leveling the ground and beginning the framework for the building.
The Aquatics Center is part of the PROPEL2040 initiative, a series of projects designed to improve infrastructure and community amenities throughout the city.
