Lawton, OK – According to the statement, Assistant Chief Seratte reportedly began his law enforcement career in 1993 and joined the Lawton Police Department in January 2000.
Assistant Chief Seratte reportedly began as a patrol officer and Field Training Officer in the Uniform Division and transitioned to the Special Operations Section in 2005, where he worked as a Detective until earning a promotion to the rank of Lieutenant in September 2007.
In 2013, he took on the role of commander in the Training Division, overseeing all department training and basic academies.
Promoted to Captain in 2015, Seratte moved back to the Uniform Division as a Watch Commander and Honor Guard Commander.
In 2020, Seratte earned the promotion to Assistant Chief of Police and currently serves as the Non-Uniform Division Commander over Criminal Investigations, Corrections, Records, and Animal Welfare.
