Lawton, OK – The Lawton Police Department is encouraging local youth to register for its upcoming Junior Citizens Police Academy, scheduled for July 6 through July 9 at First Baptist Church, located at 501 B in Lawton.
According to the department, the program is designed to give participants an opportunity to learn more about the work of local law enforcement and gain a better understanding of police operations.
