Lawton, OK – The Lawton Police Department reflected on a successful Armed Forces Day Parade held in downtown Lawton, where officers participated alongside community members and military partners.
The department said its officers enjoyed being part of the event, which brought large crowds together to recognize the service and sacrifice of the military community connected to Fort Sill.
The City of Lawton also thanked residents for attending the 2026 Armed Forces Day Parade, noting the display of military vehicles and artillery through downtown and the strong community turnout along Fort Sill Boulevard.
Officials said the parade served as a reminder of the close relationship between the city and Fort Sill, as well as the ongoing support for military personnel and their families in the region.
