Lawton, OK – Week 5 of the Lawton Citizens Academy focused on the crucial role of emergency dispatchers, the men and women who respond to calls on some of the most critical days in residents’ lives.
Director Jessica Carter and Deputy Director Richard Franz gave participants an in-depth look at Emergency Communications, explaining how E911 supports all of Comanche County.
The session highlighted the dispatchers’ responsibilities, from coordinating life-saving responses to managing continuous calls, emphasizing their essential role in public safety.
