Lawton, OK – The City of Lawton joined community members, public safety officials and military personnel in recognizing Red Ribbon Week and encouraging young people to make healthy, drug-free choices.

Mayor Stan Booker presented Joslyn Wood with a proclamation during a community gathering, while the city manager also addressed attendees in support of the initiative.

The event brought together local leaders, City Council members, public safety personnel and military members to raise awareness about drug prevention and the importance of encouraging youth to avoid substance abuse.
