Oklahoma City Police Identify Suspect and Victim in December 20 Shooting Incident 

Oklahoma City, OK – Authorities have released the names of both the suspect and the victim involved in a violent incident that unfolded on Friday, December 20, in a suburban Oklahoma City neighborhood.

According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, officers responded to reports of a domestic disturbance in the 6600 block of Bayberry Drive around 1 p.m. When they arrived at the scene, the situation quickly escalated. Police say the suspect, 43-year-old Jerry Yang, began firing shots at officers, as well as at two children who were inside the home at the time.

The confrontation between Yang and law enforcement officers continued before the situation was eventually brought under control. Fortunately, the children were unharmed, but the exact details surrounding the victim and their relationship to the suspect remain under investigation.

At this time, the police have not disclosed further information regarding the circumstances leading to the shooting or the condition of the victim. Investigators are working to gather more details, and additional updates are expected in the coming days.
