Oklahoma – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is celebrating a major achievement as Trooper Mike Brown #238 has been named the National Top Trooper following his first-place victory at an elite competition hosted by the Texas Department of Public Safety in Austin.
Competing against top troopers from across the country, Trooper Brown excelled in multiple areas, including firearms, physical fitness, law enforcement driving, and a comprehensive job knowledge test. His performance earned him the prestigious title, showcasing his remarkable skill set, focus, and dedication. His victory has made Oklahoma proud, proving he is truly among the best in the nation.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol also took a moment to recognize Trooper Destiny Terry #867, who delivered an outstanding performance, representing the state with heart and professionalism. Though she came up just short of the top spot, her effort was exceptional and a testament to her commitment to excellence.
A heartfelt thank you was extended to Texas DPS for hosting an incredible competition, with Oklahoma already looking forward to returning next year to defend their title.
