Lawton, OK – Donovan Ray, a man wanted in connection with the 2017 rape of a 12-year-old girl, was arrested earlier this month following multiple tips from the public.
Ray, who was featured on the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Ten Most Wanted List, became the seventh individual to be apprehended since the list was launched. Law enforcement officials say the arrest was made possible by the overwhelming response from the community. The Attorney General’s tipline received 30 different calls offering leads on Ray’s possible whereabouts.
In a statement, Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond thanked those who provided information and highlighted the importance of public involvement in solving such cases. “The list is aimed at enlisting the help of Oklahomans so these individuals can face accountability for their alleged crimes,” Drummond said.
