Lawton, OK – The Lawton Fire Department held free inspections for food trucks this week behind the McMahon Memorial Auditorium marquee.
The event, supported by the State Fire Marshal’s Office and Oklahoma LP Gas Administration, aimed to make the inspection process quick and easy for mobile food vendors.
Officials reminded vendors that all mobile food trucks must have a state inspection by Nov. 1 to legally operate in Oklahoma.
The inspections were available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and provided an opportunity for owners to ensure compliance ahead of the deadline.
