Governor Kevin Stitt announced his appointment of Humphries to serve as district attorney for District 4, which encompasses Canadian, Garfield, Kingfisher, Blaine, and Grant Counties 

Lawton, OK – According to the state officials, Tommy Humphries reportedly served as the Canadian County assistant district attorney since 2017, working alongside District Attorney Mike Fields in the operation and oversight of the district attorney offices in Canadian, Garfield, Kingfisher, Blaine and Grant Counties.

State officials also said that Humphries graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1996 before earning his juris doctorate from the University of Tulsa in 2001.

Governor Stitt released the following statement:

“Tommy is smart on crime and a strong advocate for fairness and justice.

Tommy has a proven track record and a wealth of experience, and I’m confident his leadership will strengthen public safety in Canadian County.”
