Former Lawton Police assistant chief Jack Partin remembered as department announces passing, graveside service set for Aug. 28 

Lawton, OK – The Lawton Police Department announced the death of former Assistant Chief Jack Partin, mourning the loss of a longtime member of the department’s leadership.

The department shared the news with deep sadness and offered condolences to Partin’s family, friends, former colleagues and others who knew him and served alongside him.

Graveside services for Partin are scheduled for Friday, Aug. 28, at 11 a.m. at Fort Sill National Cemetery.

Partin previously served as an assistant chief with the Lawton Police Department, where he worked alongside fellow officers and members of the department in serving the Lawton community.

The department did not provide additional details about Partin’s death or his length of service in its announcement.

Following his passing, the Lawton Police Department remembered Partin and expressed its support for those mourning his loss.

The department extended its heartfelt condolences to Partin’s family and friends, as well as to the former colleagues who worked alongside him during his career in law enforcement.

The agency also asked members of the community to keep the Partin family in their thoughts and prayers as they go through the loss.

The graveside service at Fort Sill National Cemetery will provide an opportunity for family, friends, former colleagues and members of the Lawton community to gather and remember Partin.
