Lawton, OK – The City of Lawton is advising drivers of ongoing construction work along Fort Sill Boulevard as roadway repairs continue between Ferris Avenue and Rogers Lane.
According to the Lawton Oklahoma City Government, Ellsworth Construction is currently completing roadway repair work in the area. The project is expected to continue through mid-June.
Officials said pavement grinding and sealing work is scheduled to begin after Independence Day, with the overall project anticipated to be completed in early August, weather permitting.
During construction, drivers should expect lane shifts as work progresses. However, city officials noted that traffic will continue to be maintained in both directions throughout the duration of the project.
The City of Lawton encouraged motorists to use caution when traveling through the area and to anticipate possible delays as crews continue work on improving roadway conditions.
