Lawton Police Department hosts 2025 awards ceremony honoring personnel and volunteers 

Lawton, OK – The Lawton Police Department hosted its 2025 Awards Ceremony at City Hall, recognizing the dedication, professionalism, and service of its personnel and volunteers.

The event brought together families, friends, and city officials, whose support helped make the ceremony a meaningful occasion for those being honored.

During the ceremony, several individuals were recognized for their contributions over the past year. Thomas Baker was named Civilian of the Year, while Detective Sedona Warren received Non-Uniformed Officer of the Year.

Sergeant Dustin Kellogg was honored as Uniformed Officer of the Year, and Captain Austin Benton was recognized as Supervisor of the Year.

In addition to the annual awards, Lieutenant Dustin Dye received a Commendation Bar for his service. The department also recognized newly retired Sentinel volunteers John Hoffman and David Perry for their combined more than 20 years of service to both the department and the City of Lawton.

Officials expressed pride in the award recipients and thanked them for their continued commitment to serving the Lawton and Fort Sill community.
