Oklahoma – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that I-35 southbound at mile marker 168 remains closed following the overturn of a tanker carrying 7,000 gallons of bio-diesel fuel.
The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m., and cleanup is expected to take significant time due to the large spill.
Southbound traffic is being rerouted from Exit 170 at Mulhall onto US Highway 77, then back onto I-35 via the State Highway 33 ramp at Guthrie.
The tanker driver was transported to a hospital for treatment. Authorities continue to manage the scene and monitor the cleanup process.
