Lawton, OK – As the Fort Sill Freedom Festival approaches, the City of Lawton has released important information regarding parking and traffic procedures to ensure a smooth and safe experience for attendees.
Taking place June 27 and 28 at Elmer Thomas Park, the festival is expected to draw large crowds for fireworks, entertainment, and festivities. To manage traffic flow, the city will implement one-way routes after the fireworks conclude and close certain roads by 7:30 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to park only in designated zones and follow posted signage. Free shuttle services will be available to help avoid parking hassles and ease congestion around the park.
