Lawton, OK – The City of Lawton has announced a generous $10,000 donation to the Lawton Public Library, accepted during the April 8 City Council meeting.
The funds were raised by students from Eisenhower High School and Lawton Public Schools as part of this year’s BEAK (Building Empathy And Kindness) fundraiser.
The contribution will be used to support literacy-related activities at the library, reinforcing the city’s ongoing efforts to promote education and community engagement.
