Lawton, OK – A joint investigation by the Lawton Police Department Special Operations Unit and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs led to the arrest of three individuals on charges of aggravated trafficking of fentanyl and methamphetamine, as well as unlawful possession of firearms.
During the operation on March 20, authorities conducted traffic stops and executed search warrants, resulting in the seizure of 290 grams of fentanyl powder, 933 grams of methamphetamine, $34,980 in suspected drug proceeds, two vehicles, and seven firearms.
The OBNDD Anti-Heroin Task Force then carried out an additional search at a related residence in Oklahoma City, where officers confiscated another 626 grams of fentanyl powder, 494 grams of counterfeit prescription tablets containing fentanyl, 883 grams of methamphetamine, and approximately $20,000 in drug proceeds.
Julio Bustamante, Yaimaris Prevals, and Agustin Marquez were taken into custody and charged with drug trafficking and unlawful possession of firearms in Comanche County District Court.
The Lawton Police Department and OBNDD emphasized their commitment to disrupting drug trafficking networks in the region.
Officials also encouraged individuals struggling with addiction to seek assistance through the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
