The Parks and Recreation Department has initiated Phase I of the City park upgrades, aimed at revitalizing all City parks

Lawton, OK – According to the city officials, this initial phase will focus on nine parks and is projected to span the next six to seven months.

Gray Warr Park is receiving a complete renovation, including the installation of a new parking lot and equipment.

Additionally, the existing playground will be dismantled to prioritize safety.

Weather permitting, this project is expected to conclude within two weeks before the team moves on to the next park.

This initiative aligns with Mayor Stan Booker’s vision to enhance the City’s appeal and elevate residents’ overall quality of life.
