Lawton, OK – The Lawton Police Department officials released the following statement:
“These sensory kits are tools for easing anxiety and increases the communication, for individuals with autism and other disabilities, in a high-stress situation.
Each sensory kit has been strategically issued to each division, in the event they come across an individual with autism or sensory overload.
We are grateful for the continued support that makes these tools and others like them available for our citizens in a time of need.
Together we can make a difference!”
