Scholarship Opportunities Available for Comanche County Students

LAWTON, Okla. — The Lawton Community Foundation Scholars Program, along with several other scholarship opportunities, is now accepting applications for Comanche County students. These scholarships aim to provide financial support to students pursuing higher education and vocational training.

Among the various scholarship opportunities, the Oklahoma City Community Foundation offers a range of scholarships to eligible students. Additionally, the Great Plains Technology Center is administering the Jim Nisbett Scholarship Fund, which can be accessed through the center’s website.

Karen Bailey, the point of contact for the Great Plains Technology Center’s scholarships, encourages interested applicants to reach out to her directly at kbailey@gptcfoundation.org for more information and to begin the application process.

Another significant opportunity comes from the United States Field Artillery Association Foundation, which also offers several scholarships to eligible students in the area.

The deadline to apply for all of these scholarships is February 15, and students are urged to submit their applications well before the cutoff to ensure consideration.

With a variety of options available, Comanche County students are encouraged to explore these opportunities and take advantage of the financial assistance offered to help them achieve their educational goals.
