Oklahoma Transportation Commission to meet February 3 to discuss projects and funding 

Oklahoma – The Oklahoma Transportation Commission will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, February 3, at 11 a.m. in the R.A. Ward Transportation Building in Oklahoma City. Members of the public and media are invited to attend or watch the livestream online.

During the meeting, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation will receive an industry award for the completion of the US-281/Route 66 Bridgeport “Pony” Bridge in Canadian County, a project finished ahead of the 2026 Route 66 Centennial Celebration.

ODOT Executive Director Tim Gatz is expected to provide updates on the upcoming legislative session and the status of federal funding.

Commissioners will also vote on several contracts, including a unique engineering contract for the US-70 Roosevelt Bridge over Lake Texoma, the continuation of a widening project on SH-33 near Langston, and resurfacing projects on I-35 south of Pauls Valley and US-69 between Muskogee and Wagoner.
