Oklahoma – Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers seized 2.2 pounds of fentanyl following a traffic stop on the Broken Arrow Expressway in Tulsa last week.
Authorities stated that the amount of fentanyl recovered was enough to potentially kill over 500,000 people.
Troopers initiated the stop due to unsafe lane changes and a fraudulent tag.
During the investigation, they observed indicators of criminal activity, leading to the discovery of fentanyl inside the vehicle.
The driver, identified as an undocumented immigrant, was allegedly transporting the drugs under the direction of a drug cartel.
The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Tulsa County Jail on multiple charges, including aggravated drug trafficking.
