Lawton, OK – According to the city officials, these accomplished women hailed from a variety of organizations, spanning non-profits hosting STEM camps to defense industry partners actively engaged in promoting STEM education within our community, alongside a representative for the STEM initiatives at Fort Sill.

The proclamation states that throughout history, women have played pivotal roles in shaping the fabric of our society, contributing to advancements in various fields and championing causes for equality and justice.

Women of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and experiences have made significant and enduring contributions to the progress and prosperity of our nation, often in the face of adversity and discrimination.
