Lawton, OK – The Lawton Police Department, together with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, participated in the Trooper Nick Dees Distracted Driving Campaign on January 29.
The campaign served as a reminder of the dangers of distracted driving, including using phones or other devices while behind the wheel.
Authorities emphasized that staying focused on the road helps prevent serious crashes and protects all drivers and pedestrians.
Motorists were also urged to remain cautious due to recent weather conditions. “Slow down, stay alert, and remember we all share the roads,” the department said.
