Lawton Fire Department lieutenant supports local high school program 

Lawton, OK – Lieutenant Patrick Jackson III of the Lawton Fire Department attended the AIM Banquet with his mentee, sophomore Diana Alvarez, celebrating her growth and development in the program.

Before the event, Diana and her parents visited Jackson at Great Plains, where he introduced her to various aspects of the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT). Diana took on the challenging tasks, including the Stair Climb, Hose Drag, Equipment Carry, Ladder Raise and Extension, Forcible Entry, Maze Search, Victim Drag, and Ceiling Breach and Pull. Throughout the process, Diana pushed herself to meet each physical challenge, showing determination and resilience.

The AIM Program provides high school sophomores with the opportunity to shadow professionals in different career fields, offering a glimpse into future possibilities. Jackson’s involvement in the program is a testament to his commitment to mentoring and inspiring the next generation of professionals.

Lt. Jackson’s dedication to sharing his knowledge with young people helps guide them toward their goals, building a foundation for success. The Lawton Fire Department commends Jackson’s continued efforts to make a positive impact on local youth.
