Lawton, OK – The City of Lawton has announced its schedule of closures and service adjustments in observance of Independence Day. All city offices will be closed on Friday, July 4, to allow staff to observe the holiday.
Trash collection will be modified as follows:

Area 3 collection will take place on Wednesday, July 2

Area 4 collection will occur on Thursday, July 3

Regular collection will resume on Monday, July 7
Additionally, both branches of the Lawton Public Library will be closed on July 4 and 5.
Residents are encouraged to plan ahead for these changes and are reminded to stay safe and enjoy the holiday responsibly.
