Lawton, OK – The Lawton Police Department thanked community members who supported this year’s Tip-a-Cop event at Jimmy’s Egg, which raised $1,550 for Special Olympics and athlete events.
The department said the fundraiser brought together officers, community members, and supporters who came out to help contribute to the cause.
Lawton police also expressed appreciation to Lawton Fort Sill for its continued support of the event and Special Olympics programs.
Funds raised through Tip-a-Cop events help support Special Olympics athletes by contributing to competitions, programs, and opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
The Lawton Police Department thanked everyone who participated and helped make the event a success.
