Lawton, OK – The Lawton Police Department reported that its Traffic Unit responded to a vehicle-pedestrian accident on Lee Boulevard just west of Flowermound.
One individual was transported to a hospital for treatment, and all parties involved were accounted for at the scene.
Westbound traffic on Lee Boulevard was temporarily closed, and motorists were encouraged to use Gore Boulevard as an alternate route.
Police later announced at 11:45 a.m. that the roadway had reopened.
The investigation remained ongoing as officers continued to review the circumstances surrounding the incident.
