Lawton, OK – Week three of the Citizens Academy gave participants an inside look at the work of the Lawton Police Department, highlighting its proactive policing, investigative efforts, and community outreach programs.
Attendees also learned about the operations of Lawton Animal Welfare, including how the department cares for animals in need, facilitates pet adoptions, and educates the public on responsible pet ownership.
City officials thanked both departments for sharing their expertise and for their continued contributions toward making Lawton a safer, stronger, and more compassionate community.
