Oklahoma – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol celebrated a major milestone with a promotional pinning ceremony recognizing 14 employees for their recent advancements.
The event, held on May 27, was a special occasion where friends and family joined to pin new badges and rank insignia on the officers’ uniforms.
Among those promoted was the new Chief of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Colonel Joe D. Williams.
Alongside him, ten officers were promoted to lieutenant, one to Major over Communications, and two were named Port of Entry Sergeants.
The ceremony highlighted the dedication and hard work of the OHP team as they continue serving the state with renewed leadership and expertise.
Officials in attendance included DPS Commissioner Tim Tipton and several members of the department’s leadership team.
