Lawton, OK – According to the city officials, these closures are necessary for pavement repair resulting from the recent installation of a new waterline.
The repair work will be executed in three phases, focusing on one lane at a time, allowing one lane in each direction to remain open for traffic.
The Cache Road Waterline Project is currently 20 percent physically complete, with about 3,500 feet of 12″ pipe installed up to 33rd Street.
Upcoming tasks include disinfecting and testing the installed pipe, connecting service lines, restoring disturbed areas, and the ongoing installation of 12″ pipe eastward along Cache Road.
