Pregnant woman died several hours after telling her spouse that ‘she didn’t want him or his famiIy members there,’ only for the man to deIay his response, then kiII her and their expected chiId at her home: police

Missouri – A Missouri man was arrested last week and is now facing serious charges, including two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of armed criminaI action, following the deaths of his spouse, 21-year-old Regan, and their unborn chiId, SiIas. The 25-year-old defendant, S. WiIson, is currently being held without bond at the ounty jail.

Missouri authorities responded to a report of a shooting in June at the victim’s residence. When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced her deceased shortly after. Their unborn chiId initially survived but tragically passed away several days later at the hospital.

Investigators pieced together the timeline through surveillance footage, cell phone records, and other data. The defendant initially told officers he had remained at home that evening and only left after receiving word of the shooting, driving to the hospital after around 12:30 a.m.. He also mentioned receiving a message from the victim hours before the shooting in which she said she ‘didn’t want the man or his family member there’ which he admitted upset him and delayed his response.

However, that account unraveled under investigation. Google Maps data from his phone showed he left his home at about 10:30 p.m. and was traveling where the victim lived. The location tracking then appeared to stop—“as if manually shut off”—only to resume near hospital shortly after 1 a.m.. Cell tower data placed his phone near the crime scene for approximately 40 minutes, and his movements aligned with travel back toward his home before appearing near the hospital again.

Additional physical evidence complicated his story. Home camera at his residence recorded a noise outside at about 12:13 a.m., prompting his dogs to run out through a dog door. Fingerprints matching his were found on the outside of his bedroom window. Investigators also noted discrepancies between his account and surveillance video from inside his home, which contradicted his timeline.

Detectives observed that during the investigation, the defendant never inquired about the victims, the status of the investigation, or whether a suspect had been identified. Instead, he merely asked when he could retrieve his vehicle. The 25-year-old man is now formally charged and is being held without bond. He faces the possibility of the death penalty, which prosecutors have not waived.
