Oklahoma Highway Patrol honors retiree after 26 years of dedicated service 

Oklahoma – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol recently celebrated the retirement of Lieutenant Cody Rehder, who concluded a distinguished 26-year career serving the State of Oklahoma.

LT Rehder began his journey with the OHP in March 1999, joining the 51st Academy. Upon graduation, he was assigned to Troop J in Woods County, where he served for two years. He later transferred within Troop J to Kingfisher County, dedicating five years to the community there.

In 2006, Rehder moved to Troop I in Ellis County, where he continued as a Trooper until 2022. His commitment and leadership led to his promotion to Lieutenant in July 2022, a position he held until his retirement.

Throughout his career, LT Rehder held a variety of specialized roles including LEDT Instructor, Hostage Negotiator, Field Training Trooper, Field Training Supervisor, Background Investigator, and part-time Public Information Officer. His diverse experience underscored his dedication to law enforcement and public safety.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol extends its best wishes to LT Rehder as he embarks on his retirement, honoring his years of service and contributions to the state.
