Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry now accepting nominations for 2025 Gov. Stitt’s Outstanding Achievement in Agriculture Award

Oklahoma – The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry is currently accepting nominations for the 2025 Governor Stitt’s Outstanding Achievement in Agriculture Award.

The award recognizes leaders in the agriculture industry who have demonstrated personal values, exceptional performance, and notable achievement.

The recipient of the award will be inducted into the Oklahoma Agriculture Hall of Fame, the state’s highest honor for distinguished agricultural producers.

Last year, Terry Stuart Forst, a fifth-generation Oklahoman, was inducted as the 27th honoree and became the first female to receive this prestigious recognition.

Forst manages the state’s oldest and most continuously operated family-run ranch.

Nominations for this year’s award are open until Saturday, March 8, and the application can be accessed through the official Oklahoma Department of Agriculture website.

The awardee will be celebrated during a special ceremony at Oklahoma Ag Day on April 22, 2025, at the State Capitol.
