NE Rogers Lane reopens after drainage repairs completed between NE Tortoise and NE Village Drive in Lawton

Lawton, OK – NE Rogers Lane has reopened to traffic following the completion of drainage repairs, according to the City of Lawton.

City officials announced that the section of NE Rogers Lane between NE Tortoise and NE Village Drive reopened at approximately 11:45 a.m. on Friday, July 10, after crews completed work on the drainage repair project.

The roadway had been closed while Stormwater Maintenance and Streets Division crews repaired damaged drainage infrastructure and prepared the area for the safe reopening of the road.

The City of Lawton thanked residents for their patience during the repairs and recognized the crews who worked to restore the roadway as quickly as possible.

Officials said the reopening allows traffic to once again travel through the affected section of NE Rogers Lane after the completion of the necessary infrastructure improvements.
