Lawton, OK – Lawton Police Department officers responded to a reported robbery attempt at Atwood’s on March 9, 2025.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that suspects had attempted to break into a firearm case using a hammer but were unsuccessful.
No employees were at the counter at the time of the incident, and no weapons were taken.
The suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.
Crime Scene Investigators have been called to process the scene as authorities continue their investigation.
