Lawton, OK – The Lawton Police Department announced it will host a Coffee with Cops event on Tuesday, December 23, providing community members an opportunity to meet and speak with officers in an informal setting.
According to the department, the event is scheduled to take place from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Starbucks located inside Target on 82nd Street. The gathering is intended to encourage open conversation and strengthen relationships between officers and the public.
Officials said residents are welcome to stop by while shopping or simply to say hello and ask questions. The department noted that the event is part of ongoing efforts to engage with the community outside of traditional law enforcement settings.
