Lawton, OK – The Lawton Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals involved in a failed robbery attempt at Atwood’s on March 9, 2025.
Officers were dispatched to the scene after receiving a report of a possible robbery.
Upon arriving, officers discovered that the suspects had attempted to break into a firearm case using a hammer but were unsuccessful.
Fortunately, no employees were present at the counter when the damage occurred, and no firearms were stolen.
The suspects fled the scene before authorities arrived. Crime Scene Investigators have been called to process the area.
The Criminal Investigation Division is urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
