Lawton, OK – The Lawton Police Department announced that Project Safe Stop, part of Lawton Safety Night, will take place on Wednesday, November 19, at 4 p.m. in the FISTA Parking Lot-Central Plaza, 200 SW C Avenue, Lawton.
The event is designed to give autistic drivers and passengers an opportunity to practice safe traffic stops in a controlled environment.
Participants and their families will also have the chance to connect with local law enforcement and access community resources.
