Lawton, OK – Thousands gathered at Elmer Thomas Park this past weekend to celebrate Freedom Festival 2025, turning the heart of Lawton into a vibrant scene of music, lights, and patriotic pride.
The event featured an eclectic lineup of entertainment, including high-energy performances by Butter and the Genre, appearances by beloved Disney princesses, and live music from Ashes & Arrows. Families and visitors of all ages enjoyed the festive atmosphere, dancing, singing, and soaking in the summer celebration.
One of the night’s highlights was an awe-inspiring drone show followed by a dazzling fireworks display by Precision Fireworks, LLC, lighting up the sky and capping off the evening with excitement and cheer.
The City of Lawton extended special thanks to its platinum sponsors — Guernsey US, Comanche Nation Entertainment, and AT&T — whose support helped bring the festival to life.
Organizers praised the strong turnout and the positive spirit of the community, noting how meaningful it was to see so many families and friends making memories together.
With this year’s festival wrapped, the countdown is already underway for next year’s event. Freedom Festival 2026 is set for June 26 and 27, and officials say they’re looking forward to making it even more unforgettable.
